Illustrative examples — fictional businesses and data

It’s a dedicated iOS and Android app, set up around your catalogue, your pickup and delivery, and how you already work. We maintain the platform behind it — you never have to build or maintain an app.

See how it works

Not a marketplace. Not a courier network. Your channel, your customers.

Why direct ordering matters

Your customers already come back. Give them a direct way to order.

Repeat orders may currently arrive through marketplaces, phone calls, WhatsApp or disconnected tools. Each of those channels has a cost: a marketplace charges a commission or platform fee on the order, a phone call can take someone away from the counter, and a message thread has to be re-entered by hand. The obvious answer is your own ordering app. Building one means payments, order management, fulfilment rules, app-store releases and somebody to maintain all of it — which is why most local businesses never do. DemandX is that app, already built, with one place behind it to run every order it brings in.

Keep the channels that work for your business. Add a branded app for customers who choose to order from you directly.

DX-1042 New — needs accepting

Customers order in your app.

It sits on their home screen under your name and your logo. Inside it, your products, your prices and your pickup times are the only ones they see.

Every direct order lands in one place.

Accept it, prepare it, mark it done. Same screen your team uses for the order before it and the one after.

You fulfil each order your way.

Pickup, scheduled pickup, delivery, scheduled delivery, pickup-and-return — you choose which ones you offer, and when.

Running your own drivers? There are tools for that too. DemandX does not supply drivers — the delivery stays yours.

Will your customers actually use it?

Here is the honest answer: DemandX gives you the channel. The relationship you already have with the customers who keep coming back is what gives them a reason to use it.

What the app gives them

  • your catalogue and your prices, in your brand
  • a cart and checkout they complete in the app, without calling or messaging
  • pickup or delivery windows chosen from those you offer
  • pickup-and-return where you offer it

It will not find new customers for you. This is a channel for the customers who already come back—not a way to be discovered. If most of your orders come from people ordering once, a direct app is the wrong investment right now.

One configurable platform

One platform. Configured around your business.

A bakery, a florist and a laundry each get an app their own customers recognise — different products, different pickup times, different look. Behind all three: the same dashboard, the same order, the same way it gets fulfilled.

What changes

  • the business name and logo
  • the app icon
  • the colours and type
  • the products customers see
  • the pickup and delivery options offered

The brand your customers see changes. Everything behind it stays.

What stays

  • the DemandX dashboard
  • the order and its reference number
  • how an order moves from placed to fulfilled
  • the way the app, the dashboard and fulfilment connect

Who it’s for

Built for businesses ready to run a direct channel.

DemandX works best when you already have repeat customers and an operation that can fulfil their orders.

A strong fit when
  • You already have repeat customersCustomers know your business and come back.
  • Direct orders would matterYou take enough repeat orders for the app to earn its place.
  • You control fulfilmentYour team handles or arranges pickup or delivery.
  • You can introduce the app to customersYou have a practical way to make returning customers aware of it.
What DemandX does not provide
  • Marketplace discoveryKeep acquisition channels that work for you.
  • A shared courier networkDelivery remains part of your operating model.
  • Done-for-you fulfilmentYour team still runs the service.
  • Bespoke or instant app creationOne platform, set up with you — not built from scratch, not generated.

What happens after you request a demo.

  1. We read what you sent. A person reads every request — not an autoresponder — and replies within one business day.

  2. A short call. We ask how customers order from you today and how your team fulfils those orders. No slide deck.

  3. You see your own ordering flow. Your category, your fulfilment model, your channels. If DemandX is not the right fit,

we will say so on the call.

No payment details. No obligation. No automated sales sequence.

Does DemandX bring me customers, and do I have to stop using marketplaces?

No. DemandX is not a marketplace and it does not generate demand for you. It gives the customers you already have a direct way to order from you, under your own brand. Keep the channels that work for your business and add a direct mobile option for the customers who choose to order from you directly.

Is the customer ordering experience an app, a website, or both?

Today it is a dedicated iOS and Android mobile app carrying your business’s name, logo, app icon and colours. A customer web-ordering storefront is not part of the product today, and we will not tell you otherwise.

Which pickup and delivery options are supported, and do you supply drivers?

Supported today: pickup, scheduled pickup, delivery, scheduled delivery, and pickup-and-return. DemandX does not supply drivers and does not operate a shared courier network — orders are fulfilled by your team or a delivery partner you choose. If you run your own drivers, optional tools are available for managing their local deliveries.

What does setup involve?

A guided setup with us, not a self-service app generator. We configure your branding, catalogue, fulfilment options and payment integration together with you, then submit the app builds to Apple and Google. How long that takes depends on your catalogue and on app-store review, so we give you a realistic estimate on the call.

Is DemandX right for my business?

DemandX fits best when you already have repeat customers, enough weekly order volume for a direct channel to be worth running, and an operation that can fulfil pickup or delivery. It is not a fit if what you mainly need is appointment scheduling, technician or field-service dispatch, marketplace customer acquisition, a courier fleet, or a bespoke app with custom functionality built for you.

What does it cost?

We’ll cover pricing on the call, once we know how you take orders and what you need to fulfil them — it depends on your catalogue and your fulfilment model, so a number quoted before that conversation would be wrong. Requesting a demo costs nothing and needs no payment details.

What would DemandX look like for your business?

Tell us how customers order from you today and how your team fulfils those orders. We’ll show you what DemandX looks like set up for your business — your products, your pickup and delivery, your prices.
